Free tools for handmade & Etsy sellers
WoodCrafts Hub is a small, independent site with free, practical tools and guides for makers, Etsy sellers and other small online shops. Many of our readers sell across borders, for example a US maker shipping to Europe or a UK woodworker selling to the US, and run into rules that were written with big companies in mind.

How our tools are built
- Runs in your browser. Our calculators and checkers are written in plain HTML and JavaScript. Your answers and numbers are processed on your own device and are not sent to us or stored by us.
- Official sources first. We base each tool on primary sources wherever possible, such as EUR-Lex, the European Commission, US Customs and Border Protection, the USITC, the Federal Register and USTR. We link to them on every tool page.
- No invented rules. Where a rule is unclear, or a rate changes often, we say so. Some tools ask you to enter the value yourself instead of guessing.
- Simple by design. The tools simplify complex rules so they are easier to use. They are a starting point, not a final answer.
Sourcing and update policy
Each tool and guide shows a “last updated” date. We review pages when the underlying rules change and at least every few months for fast-moving topics such as tariffs. When we update a page, we check the cited official sources again. If you spot an error or an outdated rule, please tell us and we will check it and correct it.
